This native perennial forms dense clusters of flowers that bloom progressively over a long period of time. Mountain mint is well known as a "pollinator paradise," being visited by a vide variety of bees, butterlfies and moths through its blooming season.
Blooms July through September, may spread generously into a colony via underground rhizomes.

Moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates clay, heat and drought.
Light Requirements
Sun to part-shade. Best blooms found in full sun.
